Convention

 

of the establishment of Arrabona European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation

with Limited Liability

Member States entities of the European Union acceding to this Convention (hereafter reffered to as: Members) made the following agreement to establish the Arrabona European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability.

reffering to the Rome Treaty Preamble and to some of the principles from 1957
reffering to Council of Europe, adopted at Madrid in 1980 May 21, to the framework convention of cooperation int he border line of Regional authorities and Administrative bodies, and to First and Second additional protocol of convention;
reffering to Maastricht Treaty signed by European Community in 1992 February 7; 

considering to Basel Declaration signed in Basel in 1999 by European Regions
considering to Strategy objectives accepted by Council of Europe in 2001 at the extraordinary annual meeting in Lisbon.
considering to Strategy objectives accepted in 2001 in Göteborg by Council of Europe; 
considering to actuality of security issues of enviromental protection, energy supply, socio-economy, food production and supply of the Danube area, and importance of strengthening the Danube identity cooperation;
considering to Declaration of cooperation signed in Ulm in 2009 May 6, which established a strategy for countries in Danube area, it is called the Danube Strategy Compilation; 

reffering to Regulation No.1082/2006/EK of European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as Regulation) adopted in 2006 July 5 by European Parliament and Council 
reffering to the ActNo. XCIX  about the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as Act) adopted by the Hungarian Parliament in 2007, which contains the provisions of Hungarian national legislation for the implementation of Regulation No.1082/2006/EK, and to legislation associated with these additional provisions ;
noting on the importance of sustainability of economical and social development generated by European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation, 
be convinced of that the Convention will contribute on the Hungarian and Slovak Cooperation and to the growing sense of belonging to each other between Central and Eastern European nations, and last but not least to achieve the objectives drafted by the European Union .

STATUTE OF THE ARRABONA EUROPEAN GROUPING OF TERRITORIAL COOPERATION WITH LIMITED LIABILITY

Undersigned establishing members,
reffering to the Regulation (EC) No 1082/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 July 2006 on a European grouping of territorial cooperation (EGTC), (hereinafter: Regulation), and to the Act adopted by the Hungarian Parliament on 25 June 2007, Act of the European grouping of territorial cooperation 2007 Act no.XCIX, (hereinafter: Act) as well as
considering to the agreement (hereinafter: Agreement) adopting the establishment of Arrabona European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability, to the Contracts, Statutes, Protocols, Statement, content and nature of objectives included in the Preamble, hereby they set up a non-profit business organization with legal personality acoordingly to the followings:
